Monday:

Math:  Unit 2 Pre - Test - Hand back math assessment from Friday for students to correct.  Due Wednesday.  Computer Lab time on Compass Learning

Science:  Short biome quiz.  Finish coloring maps.

Tuesday:

Math:  Formative assessment on positive and negative integers

Science:  Short quiz on biomes,  Animal Cracker activity

Wednesday:

Math:  Begin Unit 2 with Orders of Operation with negative numbers - small worksheet to complete / Computer Lab time on Compass Learning

Science:  Review game on biomes for test tomorrow

Thursday:

Math:  More on operations.  Check work from yesterday.  Puzzle Group Work and problems on worksheet.

Science:  Test on biomes - start biodiversity among organisms.

Friday:

Math:  Begin combining like terms

Science:  More on Biodiversity and possibly begin photosynthesis.

Science:  Go over biomes some more on aquatic biomes

Wednesday:
Math:  Math Review Game for Benchmark 1
Science:  Give out answers on graphic organizer for biomes - Daily quizzes start tomorrow on biomes.

Science:  Short quiz on biomes and review

Friday:
Math:  Math Assessment over unit 1
Science:  Short Quiz on biomes - begin coloring map

Test over biomes next Thursday.  Begin Unit 2 math on Wednesday.

Math:  Start properties of operation - Commutative and Associative of addition and multiplication and Identity of addition and multiplication- Compass Learning video- Worksheet due tomorrow

Tuesday:
Math:  Review properties from yesterday and discuss Distributive Property and Inverse Property (finish video off of compass)
Worksheet on distributive property and review questions on back (Due Thursday)
Science:  Pass out graphic organizer for all biomes.  Students research biomes in books and read articles to find the facts about them.

Math:  Review properties - distributive sheet due tomorrow.  Sort and match property cards and glue them on paper - Compass Learning Time - Quiz on Friday over properties!

Science:  Make sure graphic organizer is done, read article on aquatic biomes and answer questions
